A conversion kit is available for $129.95 which
will allow you to convert this system to a countertop configuration,
so it can be used every day of the year without need for pumping
by hand, as long as water is flowing through your kitchen faucet.
Capacity of all filter cartridges is based
on municipal (treated) water. Actual lifetime of cartridges will
vary substantially depending upon the specific water used, and so
no meaningful rating can be given for cartridges when used with
"natural" water from a lake, a stream, a pond or a river.

| "Betty and I took this unit with us on
our trips to Cancun, Mexico in March of 1995
and February of 1997. We used it to fill mineral water bottles, which
we kept in the fridge in our suite. It worked great!" --Ed Bertsch
