| In the
Summer 1995 issue of Heartland magazine is a four-page article
about water quality in the US. Highlights: |
- Drinking water is listed as the Number
4 health hazard in the US.
- The majority of bottled water is drawn
from city sources and not filtered in anyway.
- Nearly all city water is "purified" using
methods developed near the turn of the century (i.e., chlorine).
Most of the contaminants known today were not even around
back then.

Why drink the same water you flush down your
toilet?
Has it ever concerned you that "tap water" is used for flushing your
toilet, washing your car, sidewalk, or driveway, watering your lawn,
cleaning your dirty socks, and just happens to be "drinkable" as well?
Have you ever considered whether it is really more suited for the
former tasks, rather than that last one? |
